Luke's Local is an independently-owned grocery business that provides food from local family farms, butchers, ranchers, and food makers. Luke's sincerely sources great food made with integrity, and is passionate about making grocery shopping an inspiring experience for Bay Area communities. We operate a bustling brick and mortar market on Cole and Parnassus in the heart of Cole Valley, and have a second market opening in Cow Hollow in November of 2020! Luke’s offers a same-day grocery delivery and pick up service from both locations. About you
As a deli/kiosk staff member you’ll get to work with the best product Northern California has to offer - from house-smoked meats, to Sightglass Coffee, to Jane Pastries. In your role it is crucial to be able to speak intelligently about our partners, provide excellent customer service, while also maintaining a neat and clean workspace that’s visibly appealing to customers, following local health code, and having a strong willingness to work as a team in a cross functional capacity (i.e. making sandwiches to support the lunch rush and preparing breakfast items for the breakfast rush).
Barista Experience is Highly preferred, Sightglass training will be also be provided
