Luke's sincerely sources great food made with integrity, and is passionate about making grocery shopping an inspiring experience for Bay Area communities. We operate a bustling brick and mortar market on Cole and Parnassus in the heart of Cole Valley, and have a second market opening in Cow Hollow in November of 2020! Luke’s offers a same-day grocery delivery and pick up service from both locations. About You
You are enthusiastic about local food, are a strong communicator, are excellent with customers, and have an attention to detail. You have food and retail experience (not a must) and can thoughtfully guide our customers through the many delicious options in our store. You are passionate about our mission and want to be a part of growing this business.
About the Job
As Deli Supervisor of Luke's Local you are responsible for running the day to day operations of a growing team. Your primary role is to successfully lead and train the deli team as well as ordering and some administrative tasks. This means setting the example of exceptional customer experience, motivating staff, ensuring organizational and food safety standards are always met and maintained, and to execute sandwiches and food with the utmost care and attention to quality.
