Luke's Local is an independently-owned grocery business that provides food from local family farms, butchers, ranchers, and food makers. Luke's sincerely sources great food made with integrity, and is passionate about making grocery shopping an inspiring experience for Bay Area communities. We operate a bustling brick and mortar market on Cole and Parnassus in the heart of Cole Valley, and have a second market opening in Cow Hollow in November of 2020! Luke’s offers a same-day grocery delivery and pick up service from both locations. About you
You are enthusiastic about local food, willing to jump in to help other departments in the store, are a strong communicator, are excellent with customers, and have an attention to detail. You have retail and driving/delivery experience (not a must) and can thoughtfully guide our customers through the many delicious options in our store. You are passionate about our mission and want to be a part of growing this business.
About the Job
This role is primarily focused on the packing, fulfillment, and delivery of orders placed through our mobile app. You will be responsible for ensuring these orders are packed and delivered accurately and securely to customers. You are the face of the company for these customers, so a positive attitude is a must. You will also be working with our Same-Day operations team, as well as the staff in-store, so strong communication skills are also required. Cars are provided by the company for deliveries.
Requirements
Clean driving record
Valid California driver's license
Smartphone with Maps and space for our routing app
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
