We operate three vibrant brick and mortar markets - one on Cole and Parnassus in the heart of Cole Valley, a second in Cow Hollow on Union St. and our third & newest location on Green St. in North Beach. Luke’s offers a same-day grocery delivery and pick up service from both locations. About You
You are a clean and organized worker with at least 2 years of sushi making experience. Must have experience with making rice, cutting and prepping fish, making nigiri and rolls. Passionate about the craft with high standards of quality and attention to detail. Should have strong communication skills.
About the Job
This is a 3 day a week, day time, part-time position with potential for full-time. The sushi chef is responsible for ordering, preparing, assembling, and packaging all sushi products for our soon to be 2 retail locations. The position is based out of our commissary kitchen located in the Dogpatch. You will report to the Head Chef.
Responsibilities:
- At least 2 years sushi experience
- Experience making rice, cutting and prepping fish, making nigiri and rolls
- Organized and high standards of cleanliness
- Must have a ServSafe food handler certification.
